AHLA: Share Your Support for SB50!

Action Item for This Week: It’s back! SB50: the More HOMES Act is a proposed law that will allow more housing near jobs and transit, along with strong tenant protections. 

Since the bill was shelved in May, State Senator Scott Wiener has fine-tuned the measure and built increasing support. 

Because SB50 is a holdover from the last session, we need to get the bill through the State Senate by the end of January. Now is the time to scream from the rooftops— in other words, let’s share our support for SB50 on Twitter & Facebook!

Bonus: Share some photos of what we DO provide housing for in L.A., such as garages for cars and storage facilities for stuff. Why are we providing so much housing for inanimate things, when so many people are unhoused?
