Action Item for This Week: We’re working to make sure Angelenos can afford their homes, protect them from predatory landlords, and build more housing. There are 17 AHLA-supported bills moving through the legislature right now and the stakes are high.
With elected officials back in Sacramento from summer break, it’s important they hear from constituents like you.
Let’s email our senators and assemblymembers and tell them to support this package of 17 development without displacement bills.

Support the 1.3 Million Housing Target. Sep 05 Thu 12:15 pm – Thu 1:15 pm. SCAG Main Office – 900 Wilshire Blvd Ste 1700, DTLA.
We need to tell SCAG that we support the 1.3 million regional housing target, and that we also need to allocate that number in a way that provides more housing in job-rich, high-cost areas near transit.
