the COVID-19 outbreak continues to impact us all, and the most vulnerable among us are suffering. It’s clear that the housing crisis that we were already experiencing has left many reeling and unable to secure housing. 

Our Action Item this week is a letter right to the top: we’re writing to Speaker Pelosi and the entire California Congressional delegation to ask that they advance critical affordable housing and homelessness solutions as both crisis response and crisis recovery to our COVID environment. 

Want rental relief for those hardest hit, and we want housing to be deemed essential infrastructure. Join us in making this call.

Housing Hearing Alert: 

Enlightenment Plaza is a project planned for a mostly vacant lot in East Hollywood that would bring 454 units of Permanent Supportive Housing to our city. 

On Thursday from 6 – 7:30pm, there will be a virtual open house. They’ll be covering everything from transportation to environmental review and more!

Affordable Housing in Venice??

YES. There is a 40-unit project in Venice that needs our support. Venice Community Housing is in the process of creating much-needed affordable, supportive housing including studios, one-bedrooms and two-bedrooms in Venice at 2471 Lincoln Blvd. They also need our support!!!! 

This letter takes less than a minute to complete and can go a long way toward helping bring housing to those who need it most.
