Hi Friend,
If you celebrate, we hope your holiday season is a lovely one (all things considered)!
This week, we’re asking you to join us in supporting three mutual aid groups doing critical work for vulnerable Angelenos.
- Southeast Asian Community Alliance
SEACA collects funds for food, care packages and financial support for Chinatown and Lincoln Heights elders as well as members in critical need. Their work has been featured in the LA Times and laist. Find out more and donate here!
- California Community Foundation
Help us support CCF’s COVID-19 LA County Response Fund. From hardship relief to long-term recovery, this program is helping LA’s most vulnerable neighbors make it through this unprecedented crisis.
- Hollywood Food Coalition
Since 1987, the Hollywood Food Coalition has been serving the unhoused and the hungry every day. Find our more about their work and their new Community Exchange here.
For many, this year has been a fight for survival. Your generosity will literally change lives this holiday season and beyond. Thank you for joining us in this effort.

A fabulous send-off to 2020
Last Wednesday we were so lucky to be joined by some amazing comics for our last event of the year: Funny Neighbors, Comedy for a Cause. Through the generosity of our attendees and of our board chair Brent Gaisford, we raised $14,371.70!
If you joined us, thank you for your generosity. If you didn’t we hope you’ll come to our next event! And it’s never a bad time to donate. You’re helping us keep up the fight for vulnerable families across LA County.
