RHNA: Regional Housing Needs Assessment

AHLA: Leading the conversation.

Action Item for This Week: SCAG is the regional body of governments that makes decisions affecting everyone in LA County and beyond, no matter who their city councilmembers are. SCAG’s Regional Council and Community, Economic, and Human Development (CEHD) Comittee are set to consider the recently submitted methodology for how to distribute housing needs across the cities and communities of Southern California. We need them to adopt this new and improved methodology. The housing crisis isn’t slowing down, and we can’t either. 

Tell SCAG to update the RHNA methodology now. RHNA matters immensely for housing in LA, and your letter will let officials know that we are watching and that we care.
