Hundreds of thousands of Angelenos have been left without employment due COVID-19. Hear from Maddie who lives in council member @paulkrekorian’s district about how COVID-19 has affected her, including a cross-country drive to insure security and what she’d like to see done for a #HealthyLA.

If this video has you wondering what to do, city council meets tomorrow at 10am to discuss emergency measures in response to COVID-19. There will be time for public comments but not enough time to discuss how COVID-19 has changed life for millions of Angelenos.

We urge all folks if possible to contact their city council member to protect those most vulnerable and to pass actions for a #HealthyLA. You can go to healthyla.org/share.

You can submit public comment via the City’s public comment channel https://cityclerk.lacity.org/publiccomment/ and by calling ‪(669) 900-6833 and use Meeting ID No.459 499 150 and then press #. Press # again when prompted for participant ID.‬
