Hi Friend,

The City of Los Angeles is in the process of its 2021-2029 update to the Housing Element of the General Plan; it identifies Los Angeles’s current housing needs and establishes clear goals for the future.

As part of the process, the Department of City Planning has shared a survey, “The Plan to House LA”, to gather public feedback on what the city’s priorities should be in designing the housing element.

Why you should take the survey today:

  1. There are important questions here! One example is the following question: “Should the City establish targets for affordable and market-rate units in individual neighborhoods”
  2. We don’t know when it closes!
