They’re still discussing this?

We’re beinging this back. The LA City Council is still discussing a motion that would criminalize sitting, sleeping, or lying within 500 feet of a recently opened shelter facility or transportation infrastructure.

This criminalization of homelessness comes amid a pandemic that has already killed thousands of Angelenos and that threatens to push more people, crushed by the economic crisis, onto our streets. The solution isn’t to bully our unhoused neighbors; we need real commitment from our elected leaders.

Help us once again send a clear message to the council: give us real solutions, not more criminalization.

It’s finally here. The end of 2020.

It’s been a long year, and we’re proud of the success we’ve had. So it’s time to hang out, decompress, and prepare for the opportunities 2021 will bring.

Close out the year with us on December 16th at funny neighbors: comedy for a cause. We’re bringing you some of LA’s greatest comedians, including Adam Conover, from Adam Ruins Everything! The proceeds will go toward continuing our work of ending the housing crisis and building a better LA. What could be better?!
