The latest news and events for the Pro Housing Movement.
Hi Friend,
A few months ago we invited you to take action to support the Lincoln Apartments, a proposed development that would bring 40 units of permanent supportive housing to Venice. This life-giving development would help some of the most vulnerable Angelenos transition out of homelessness. At a time when 66,000 people live on the streets of our county, this is exactly the type of proven solution we need.
The Department of City Planning heard us, and approved the project.
But it isn’t over yet. Strong NIMBY opponents have appealed City Planning’s approval. The effort is being spearheaded by the Catholic Archdiocese of LA. (Read our reaction.)
So we’re sending a petition straight to the Archdiocese: this project is exactly what LA needs. It’s a critical tool in the fight against homelessness.
Join us in fighting for this development.
