Abundant Housing LA is seeking housing advocates to be part of our 2022 Endorsements Committee!
This panel of volunteer committee members will be responsible for researching candidates in priority races, conducting questionnaires and potentially interviews with candidates, and possibly polling AHLA members on their stances with candidates. This is an exciting opportunity to gain insights on important 2022 elections as well as professional experience working for a pro-housing social welfare organization.

The endorsements committee will begin early January. The estimated time commitment is 2-3 hours per week for about 3 months. After researching candidates independently or in teams with other committee members, the endorsements committee will come together to review and discuss candidate endorsements.

In the spirit of Giving Tuesday, Abundant Housing LA will be conducting a membership drive! As a grassroots organization, our members empowers us to buid the movement to house all Angelenos. Right now, our focus is to bring over 800,000 new homes to LA County, which will help lower rent, prevent homelessness, and rehouse unhoused neighbors.

You will get to choose which part of our work to support – Education, Legislation, or Election.
- Contributions to our Education Fund are tax-deductible and ***your impact will be MATCHED on Giving Tuesday***. Funds for this empower us to educate the public on housing.
- Contribute to our Legislation Fund to help pass pro-housing legislation.
- Contribute to our Election Fund to help elect pro-housing leaders.

Of course, our membership comes with perks! All members will be invited to monthly meetups and happy hours as well as an exclusive annual housing panel discussion with experts. This is a great way to network with other advocates and professionals in the housing space.
